- use 2 tablespoon cookie scoop - if adding 1 cup of nuts, you'll get 46 cookies - our oven (K & T), 12 minute bake at 375 (not convection); rotate after 6 minutes
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Line three baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Cream together butter and both sugars until combined.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until light, about 1 minute.
Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
Add chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.
Roll 2 to 3 tablespoons of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced on prepared cookie sheets (about 1.5 to 2 inches apart).
Bake in preheated oven for approximately ~10 minutes, until cookies are just barely starting to turn brown.
Let cookies sit on the baking pan for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
