Ingredients

  • 200 grams melted butter
  • 175 grams brown sugar
  • 85 grams white sugar
  • 2 eggs with vanilla extract
  • 280 grams plain flour with 1 teaspoon baking soda and salt
  • 300 grams chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
  2. Mix melted butter with brown sugar and white sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix.
  4. Stir in flour, baking soda and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Press dough into a 24cm skillet.
  7. Bake at 175°C for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Finish with ice cream if desired.
