Ingredients 28 crackers Premium Plus saltines or Breton are the best 1 cup packed brown sugar1 cup butter1 cup semisweet chocolate chips1/3 cup chopped nuts optional 1/3 cup seasonal chocolates or candies optional Preparation Completely line a 9x13 baking pan with foil. Grease. Arrange a single layer of crackers over bottom of pan. Arrange a second layer to cover cracks, where necessary. In a medium saucepan combine sugar and butter. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat; pour evenly over crackers in pan. Bake in a 400 F (200 C) oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Put back in the oven for 1 minute. When chips are soft, spread evenly over top. Sprinkle with nuts or additional candies. Chill on counter for 30 minutes before moving to the fridge until chocolate is set. Break into pieces to serve. Store in refrigerator.
