To make gluten free just substitute with an all purpose gf flour. It should have xanthan gum in the ingredients, if it doesn’t you can add 1 tsp for every cup of flour.

Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 lemon rind grated rind of one lemon
  • 1/2 cup milk or water

Preparation

  1. Mix together exuberantly
  2. Mix well and pour into sprayed loaf pan
  3. Cook at 350 for 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon juice juice of one lemon

Preparation

  1. Over warm loaf still in pan spoon 1/2 cup sugar and juice of one lemon over loaf
