As a gift, this is nice bottled in heatproof wine glass.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups rose’ wine
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel finely shredded
  • 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/4 ounces fruit pectin half of a 6-ounce package

Preparation

  1. Combine in your jelly pot: sugar, wine, orange peel, and orange juice.
  2. Bring to a full rolling boil.
  3. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and immediately stir in pectin.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Skim, bottle, and paraffin.
