Use as an appetizer served with just crackers or cream cheese and crackers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups jalapeno peppers cut-up, deseeded
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne
  • 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
  • 6 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 certo bottle
  • 1/8 teaspoon green food colouring

Preparation

  1. Process peppers in blender or food processor until very fine.
  2. Place first four ingredients in your jelly pot and bring to a rolling boil.
  3. Remove from heat and add certo and food colouring.
  4. Skim, bottle and paraffin.
