- 3 eggs beaten slightly
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cups brown sugar firm
- 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoons ginger
- 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups canned evaporated milk
- 1/8 teaspoon Mapleine maple flavoring
Preparation
- In a large mixer bowl, beat the eggs slightly on speed 4 for 1 minute.
- Add pumpkin, cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla, and evaporated milk.
- Beat on speed 4 until blended for 1 1/2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally.
- Pour into a chilled pie shell.
- Bake in a hot oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
- Then reduce the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for about 45 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
