Wasabi and Ginger Baked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons wasabi paste
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root grated fresh
  • 4 filets salmon filets skin-side down, 4 ounces each

Preparation

  1. In a small mixing bowl combine first 7 ingredients.
  2. Place salmon skin-side down in a glass baking dish. Cover with the wasabi-ginger mixture.
  3. Cover and bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until fish is cooked through and flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  4. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
