Ingredients

  • 2 bananas ripe, mashed
  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour gluten-free
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup truvani protein powder chocolate or vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips dairy-free or regular, use refined sugar free if wanted

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla.
  3. Sift in almond flour, oat flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir until combined.
  4. Gently mix in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese dairy or dairy-free
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the ingredients until smooth and add the chocolate chips.
  2. Spread frosting over the cooled cake. Slice and enjoy!
