Ingredients

  • 8 potatoes medium sized
  • 1/2 onions large
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 pounds sausage chopped
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 whipping cream pint
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 3 tablespoons water

Preparation

  1. Chop meat and vegetables and put in a greased roasting pan.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat and veggies.
  3. Cook at 350°F for 45-60 minutes.
  4. While that's cooking, blend cream, cornstarch, and water.
  5. After the potatoes are soft and you are close to serving, add cornstarch mixture. Stir into potatoes/meat and cook another 20 minutes or so (until thickened).
