Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter for sautéing
  • 4 garlic
  • 2 onions
  • 28 oz tomatoes crushed, tomato sauce
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Mince and sauté in butter on medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and onions.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until thickened.

White Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk for sauce

Preparation

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Add flour.
  3. Slowly add milk to mixture, stirring constantly to avoid lumps in the sauce.
  4. Heat, allowing the sauce to thicken. Stir constantly.

Lasagna Assembly

Ingredients

  • 3 noodles pre-cooked, 3 or 4 layers
  • 1/4 cup pesto
  • 500 g mozzarella cheese 500g
  • parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top

Preparation

  1. Layer white sauce, pasta, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pesto in order.
