1 1/2 pound
pork
can be chops or boneless
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 cup
flour
oil
1 cup
water
1/2 cup
vinegar
1 1/2 cup
brown sugar
2/3 cup
ketchup
1 tsp
soy sauce
2 tbsp
corn starch
2 tbsp
water
Preparation
Place individual pieces of pork in a bag.
Put flour, salt and pepper in with pork slices and shake until coated.
Brown pork in frying pan with oil.
Place the browned ribs in a glass bowl or casserole dish.
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup water, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2/3 cup ketchup.
Cook over medium heat until boiling.
Add in soy sauce, corn starch, and 2 tbsp water and boil for 4-5 minutes.
Pour sauce over meat so that it covers it.
Bake at 350-400 degrees for 1 hour, occasionally basting the ribs.
Serve with rice.
