Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups black beans
  • 1 gallon water
  • 2 garlic diced
  • 1 handful celery chopped
  • 1 handful parsley chopped
  • 1 lb bacon more or less
  • 2 yellow onions
  • oregano - pinch
  • red pepper flakes - pinch
  • 1 tso salt teaspoon
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Preparation

  1. Soak black beans overnight in water.
  2. Cook for 5 hours in a crock pot or boil.
  3. Add garlic, celery, parsley, bacon, and onions.
  4. Add oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and mustard.
  5. Cook for two more hours.
  6. Add vinegar before serving
