Ingredients
- 15 oz raisin bran 15 oz box
- 1 cup shortening melted
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 cups flour (new 1/2 c)
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1 qt buttermilk 1 quart
- 5 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp salt
Preparation
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Stir in raisins. Cover and let rise in refrigerator.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
