Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 lemons
  • 1 1/2 lemons zest
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 5 eggs beaten

Preparation

  1. Combine and cook in double boiler.
  2. Will be 'thinnish', but will thicken in refrigerator.
  3. Nancy sometimes adds a bit of corn starch to the ingredients, but Marianne has never done that.
  4. Lemon Curd will keep in refrigerator for weeks.
