Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cups white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cups butter
- 1 cup plain yogurt room temp
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla optional
- 1 1/2 cups blackberries fresh or unthawed frozen
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cut in butter.
- Mix together yogurt, eggs, and vanilla (if using). Add to dry ingredients. Mix lightly.
- Fold in blackberries.
- Bake for 20 mins
