Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 1 cup plain yogurt room temp
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla optional
  • 1 1/2 cups blackberries fresh or unthawed frozen

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cut in butter.
  4. Mix together yogurt, eggs, and vanilla (if using). Add to dry ingredients. Mix lightly.
  5. Fold in blackberries.
  6. Bake for 20 mins
