Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoons simple syrup
- 3 bitters Angostura is great and readily available
- 2 ounces bourbon or rye whiskey
- orange peel one 2-inch piece
- 1/2 pieces maraschino cherries
Preparation
- Combine simple syrup, bitters, and whiskey in an Old Fashioned glass. Stir well.
- Add 1 to 2 large ice cubes and stir a few more times to chill.
- Garnish with an orange peel and cherry.
