Hi, I'm Travis. I am a software developer who spent the first quarter-century of my career working extremely hard to build things that mattered to other people.
Right now, I'm at a turning point, focusing on building something meaningful while balancing family life with three kids...
Now that I am more flexible and working from home I have taken over main responsibility for grocery shopping and keeping food in the house. Cooking and meal planning can feel overwhelming, especially when juggling busy schedules. Finding simple, reliable recipes or organizing meal plans shouldn't be so hard. We should be able to easily share these things with our family and friends without having to read a life story. No one has time to hunt for that “Jump to recipe” button while dodging ads and popups.
Imagine finding recipes your friends love, planning meals effortlessly, and discovering tips tailored to your needs—all in one place. Yes, that was generated by AI. 😀
I'm taking a transparent, community-focused approach. I'll share the steps of the journey with you and I hope you will share your feedback to shape this project. Let's see where we end up.
Feegi doesn't run ads, and I don't plan to change that. Instead, the features that cost real money to run — importing a recipe from a link, building a meal plan, or the audio guide that talks you through a recipe all use AI — are paid for by the people who use them, with credits or a subscription. Browsing, saving and sharing recipes stay free.
I am building and trying to keep expenses as low as possible. If you like what you see and want to support the project beyond that, you can also donate to my page on Ko-fi.
Thank you for being here and considering supporting this journey. I'm excited to share this adventure with you!
